Freelance Hair & Makeup Ayrshire

Absolute Treatments wedding hair and make-up was launched in 2004 by Susan Russell and Suzanne McAlpine. Together they have over 25 years professional experience specialising in weddings for which they are passionate about.  Working together in-salon for many years they have a fabulous working relationship and are friends as well as colleagues.

Susan’s experience in the beauty industry derives mainly through working in salons, freelance work and lecturing.  She has also received advanced training from many prestigious companies such as Darphin, Guinot and Clarins.

Suzanne’s hairdressing experience comes from both from salon and freelance work. She is also a specialist in Bridal hair and creative styling. They are based in Ayrshire but available to travel to any location throughout Glasgow, central Scotland.  They can either work together or independently.

Due to our expanding business Amanda Kennedy freelance hair stylist has now joined us.   Amanda brings a wealth of bridal hair experience from both freelance and bridal work.

Getting ready is a great part of the wedding day and Susan and Suzanne’s aim is to provide the ultimate wedding service that is professional, relaxed, fun and friendly. They pride themselves in understanding your individual needs and ideas to ensure you look nothing less than stunning on your big day!
